Five reasons why to drink the blue tea, not green but blue!

After my long break up make up relationship with coffee, I can honestly testify that we are officially divorced and since then I have been wheeling into the tea world instead. Though it was difficult because I missed the creamy milky taste, I was determined because my health is more important than my taste buds. Now I will admit that after experimenting a few flavors I am surprised how much difference it makes when you add lemon and raw honey, not to mention able to sleep better and less anxiety attacks makes the transition so worth it.

But here below I will share reasons why out of all the tea I have tried and enjoyed I will have to let you know about the one that I fell in love with & why. So not only I have seen the results in such a short period of time but it has much great long term benefits.

Yes I am in love, but what is the blue tea?

Well blue tea, or butterfly pea flower tea, is a caffeine-free herbal concoction, made by seeping dried or fresh leaves of the Clitoria ternatea plant. The best thing about the blue tea is that it is absolutely caffeine-free, and it is packed with antioxidants. So here is the five reasons why I fell in love with it.

1. The blue pea flower tea contains catechins, which are said to be instrumental in burning belly fat and aiding weight loss. Drinking butterfly-pea flowers seeped in warm water is said to be an effective way to rev up the metabolism, which in turn, makes the body burn more calories.
