Five things you need to do before you start couponing.

Yeah, it was a sweet thing not needing to buy toilet paper, dish detergent, toothpaste, deodorants, lotion, hair products, especially the feminine products as we all woman need for four years now. All because in 2016 I was introduced to couponing by my one and only sister and still to this day enjoying the fruits of those labors. Yes, I did spent hours on Sundays at CVS doing transactions after transactions in line. Yes, it is time-consuming but obviously well worth it. At first, it seems you spent more money but once you learned the tricks with a little patience, it is pretty awesome going home with $200-$300 worth of products and only spending $30.00 . I was stacking my garage and i loved it, retail therapy at its best. Now it didn't start this way so yes you will need to plan this journey out if you want to start this road life of couponing.

In the beginning, it was overwhelming and very confusing, but the more organized you are the easier it will be in the long run. And then you will see why it can be so addicting. Now some people live to coupon continually, kudos if you can commit for a long period of time and have the space. Yes, you will need space-lots of it. But in my experience, I think couponing periodically works best for me. Do it for a couple of months or so and after the holidays is a good time. Because retail companies are trying to get rid of products that are labelled specifically for the holidays.

So since I am going to start this process all over again, here below I share some tips on what I have learned to coupon effectively. I’m going to give you the rundown on what worked for me in the past up north. I highly recommend to use the tips below as a beginner. If you have any recommendations, please don't be shy and share. I know from time to time, the coupon rules may have changed, so I highly recommend two important factors, look into the stores' coupon rules and build a friendly relationship with the employees , especially the manager. Trust me, it will benefit you in the long run.
